I'm just going to give you the full spiel, so you may know some of this. Let me preface by saying I wouldn't do the sunlight thing with the tank unless you're SURE the temperature is acceptable. Sun through glass can get really hot, and can filter a lot of the good stuff out anyhow. Here's the rundown:
