I am given to understand that the use of "lame" to mean bad and stupid is not preferred by people whose disability includes, you know, lameness, so here it's a little striking:

This is not me saying I don't fail at this sort of thing on a regular basis. I do. I'm just saying in the context of pointing out ableism issues, it seems like (assuming my understanding is valid) a particularly problematic oops.

I find the word precisely fits the meaning I was trying to get across. It's rather fitting, actually, being that I have mobility issues and these jerks have issues with getting their brains to function satisfactorily. There's more than one meaning to the word itself.
