"It's no big deal," Ritsuka said, indicating the latest bandages.
Soubi frowned, feeling helpless. Asking Ritsuka to stay was pointless.
Ritsuka looked at the door and then back at him. "Soubi, do you want me to stay?"
It was either a trap or another unintentionally cruel question, the kind Ritsuka tended to ask.
Biting back his usual response, Soubi answered, simply, "Yes."
Silently, Ritsuka crawled into his bed and waited for him.
