Waaah, Kingdom Hearts 3D looks so awesome! Just saw the cool, new trailer from Tokyo Game Show (happening right now in Japan). I love that Sora and Riku appear to be dual protagonists this time, and I love the chemistry Sora has with tsun-tsun Neku Sakuraba (of the awesme Square-Enix DS game The World Ends With You). This makes Neku the first non- ( Read more... )

Shurato sounds interesting--wish I could check that out, but I've had so many virus-related problems lately that I'm afraid to download anything off the internet that isn't totally legit. =__=

As for Kiyasu Kouhei, Isumi-san said the same thing about him seeming to be a nice guy, but every word I've ever seen him speak or read him speak like EVER has indicated the complete opposite. Like when the cast are interviewed about the series, you get enthusiasm and excitement from others, but Kiyasu is always like, "um, yeah. It was okay. Yeah. I did it." and that's about it. Also, whenever anyone even JOKINGLY brings up SouKazu, he totally, bluntly shuts it down (doesn't tease like most good seiyuu do), and then gets upset. Most recently, Maya's seiyuu, Matsumoto Marika, brought SouKazu's legitimacy up in no uncertain terms in the HAE BD booklet interview (and also once or twice before, in an Animage interview, I believe--I can't remember exactly when), and he was the one person who just totally shut it down and basically shamed Makotsu and the others into not going with it. Makotsu totally adores Kazuki and has obviously tried earnestly to "get" him, so HE knows that Kazuki's love for Soushi is obvious. But he got all uncertain when Kiyasu started dissing the idea openly.

Well, I dunno. Maybe it is just me since everyone else has been thoroughly charmed by him. But somehow, I really get the sense that even though Ubukata-sensei is willing to go with the SouKazu angle, Makotsu is okay with it for Kazuki's sake, and the producers (or at least, adorable Producer Nakanishi who hosts all the live events) are totally gung-ho for SouKazu, Kiyasu's snooty manner and silently disapproving attitude (plus the male fans, I guess) are keeping them from making it official. =__= *huff* Well, that's basically why I'm mad. But anyway~

About your virus problems, I can relate. I've had many though not recently. Usually it's because I look for a keygen for some programs. For instance mIRC, mine is about 2 years past its trial date and just recently it decided to start acting up, and even downloading a full, cracked version still gives me the same message about my trial being expired. Would you happen to have any tips on that?

Anyway, what I was gonna say is that BakaBT has perfectly safe torrents, so I'm giving you a few links from there.

Did you ever get to see Samurai Troopers after all? You can find the entire TV series here, and the three OAVs here, if you still need it. As for Shurato, the TV series can be found here, and the 6-episode OAV is here. I can also link you to the Gundam series I got myself if you wish. As for the drama CDs of YST, it is possible to find them in lower quality MP2 format, but I'll ask around to see if I can't find better.

As for Kiyasu-san, all I can say is it sounds like a real shame. Either way, the dialogue between Soushi and Kazuki alone makes it obvious that they are a couple, so whether there's ever an official recognition of it or not, it doesn't matter so much to me. In the TV series, Soushi is pretty blunt about Kazuki being the most important person to him even though he loves his sister and cares for his friends. Kazuki is nice to everyone, but the one he talks about and thinks of the most is Soushi, and all his actions are motivated by him. I doubt Makotsu got uncertain at all by Kiyasu-san's "dissing", btw; it was probably just how you go along with the flow when someone is being bull-headed. Even Maya, from the beginning, it could be said that she had a simple crush on Kazuki but didn't really love him. Their relationship and interaction in the movie are so casual and easygoing that there's no awkwardness between them. Either way, I think that Kazuki and Soushi's relationship is very pure, in a sense. They're both still young so probably neither one really realizes that it's love, or cares to put words to it, but they're both definitely headed in the right direction for a mature couple. And if it was put in the booklet of the CD, that's official to me. If you can quote that part, I'd be grateful. And if you ever find the Animage interview that would be great too! ^_^

Eventually, both in the future of Fafner and of mankind, it'll be shameful to deny the obvious in terms of homosexual relationships. We're heading that way so if you ask me, it's inevitable. Though personally, I'll admit that the one thing I don't buy is pansexuality. Whoever thought up that term must have been drunk, because last I checked, humans don't have sex with animals and plants, and aliens don't exist (that we know of).
