Man, that job sounds wicked. I never would have guessed you'd be doing that. (That Babe Ruth thing is hillarious) How long have you been working there?

Your life sounds interesting if nothing else. In a way I envy you.

You should read the Dark Tower series from Stephen King. Tina made me read it and it's awesome. Book number one is "The Gunslinger". However, you MUST get the revised edition. He went back a few years ago and basically rewrote the whole book. The old version is retarded and hard to work through. The new one is a little off, but still good reading. The ones that follow are even better. I don't know if you're anti-Stephen King because he's too mainstream, but give it a chance anyway.

I must say something about your journal color scheme: the black on black for the date is crazying.

I need some good music reccomendations. I am ready to rip out my radio.

HA! I didn't even know it was black on black, nor do I really know how to change it. This whole time I was thinking that the date feature was something extra, and I was jealous of other people.

Tina has been trying to get me to read The Dark Tower series for years (let's sit back for a moment, and be freaked out that is HAS been years). Perhaps I will give it a go.

"Envy" is relative Grant, and probably not the word you want to use. I love the turn your life has taken, and my heart is happy for you. In a lot of ways your life has tons more meaning now than mine does, or will for a while yet. Kiss Tina's belly for me.

And, whatever, can you believe I live in Boston? I mean, I talked about it for a while, but still...it's astounding to me that I live in another state, and it feels like home.

also, it's www.eventtemps.net * , and I have almost been working there for two months. I had two other jobs before this, both telefundraising, and I quit them right away. I will have been here in Boston for two months on the 8th

Try www.livejournal.com/customize to change the colors of your journal. Not exactly sure where in there, but somewhere. Or leave it.

Mostly my life is great. Sometimes I get sick of the day-to-day humdrum and I want to travel. I did say "in a way".

Yeah I can totally dig living in another place. I don't know if everyone is really adaptable, but I can totally spend a few days in a place and imagine it being home. I spent like 6 months (or something) living in Jacksonville. And when I spent 2 or 3 weeks in West Virginia it was like I could stay for years. I just kind of groove wherever I am. That being said, it was REALLY nice to come back to Homestead after being in Jacksonville. Hard to explain why.

I live on Paul Gore Street, in case you want to take your search a little farther. That map is pretty funny, and confusing.

Hey! Wednesday my good friend from New Mexico is flying into Boston to see me- I haven't seen him two years. I would have loved to have gone to that show. Casey (a_dancewithrain) , is here as well for another week or so. Perhaps we should get together. I will look through my old emails to find your number.

Peace out homie,
-Melissa
