The internet is entertaining!
So I was mindlessly trolling youtube for fanvids because I was out late yesterday and am hosting a brunch tomorrow and I hurt all over and just want to veg out tonight (don't judge me!), and
SOMEONE PUT ONE OF MY CRAPPY MANIPS IN THEIR ROMANTIC FANVIDEO. I literally fell off my chair laughing and huddled on the floor and continued to laugh. alder_knight was very confused at first. But then she joined me.
Oh man, I feel so special. I haven't laughed that hard in a loooong time.
other exciting youtube fanvid finds:
-A Doctor/Rose one where Ten regenerates into John Simm and is terribly evil, Rose gets a big gun to stop him, and then he dies and rather inexplicably turns back into Ten in the end. Happy ending! (Not poorly done, just....wtf.)
-Donna/Jack where they are both reminiscing tearfully about their ended relationship, in black and white flashbacks. Ending, of course, with Jack running in to stop Donna's sudden, inexplicable wedding. Happy ending! (This one was actually pretty well done for an AU vid, except for talky face. But then again, I do love Donna/Jack.)
- old Who companions being awesome to "Sisters are Doing it for Themselves" <3 (the video itself was so-so, but the concept and the fact that they searched out all that footage is fantastic.)
- The smuttiest Ten/Rose video I HAVE EVER SEEN. (so of course, I saved it to my hard drive.)
- A Doctor/Hermione video. To Evanescence. a DOCTOR/HERMIONE VIDEO. I have no words.
(*disturbingly* well done. Plz no to 12 year old Hermione shooting longing looks at the Doctor...)
- A vid where the Doctor chameleon archs himself into being Davina (David Tennant's drag character), picks up the Master, the Master opens the watch and the Doctor turns male again, the Master is horrified, but then they have gay sex and everything is okay. (So. Much. Love.)
I was unable to find any Donna/Rose or Rose/Master videos that I really liked, which, while not a surprise, was a little sad.
Yes, this was a pointless entry. I just had to share about the manip/fanvid thing. Anyone have any terrible or great fanvid recs?
