Sorta kinda fic rec list (aka types of fics Circe likes) 1 of 3
So I've always wanted to have a fic rec list, because I absolutely adore digging through other people's fic rec lists. However, once I checked my saved fic links, I realized that people are probably not interested in my favorite top 5000 favorite pieces of Rose/Ten smut or Doctor/Rose fluff. So I decided to see if my links had any specific genres that I like that are something other than just Doctor/Rose as the only defining features. This (still a bit woefully inadequate in places) sort of randomly specific list is the result.
*Bear in mind that although it isn't true of everything on this list, it is VERY heavily skewed towards Rose and to a slightly lesser extent, Doctor/Rose.
*No WIPS, because they make me sad on rec lists.
*Lots of angst makes me sad, Aside from standard Doomsday angst, pretty much none of these stories are going to end with the Doctor or Rose dead or horribly maimed, and no one is getting dumped or being sad because their feelings are confessed then un-reciprocated. At no point is Rose ditching Cloen to get back to the "real" Doctor. Deviations from any of that are marked.
*Seasons refer to New Who Seasons because it's easier to distinguish, not because it's correct.
*Right now this is just a Doctor Who list, but that may change in the future.
*I've marked for most common warnings that I remember (i.e. non-con, character death, etc.- though additional content is listed in my "Notes" section) but please check the author's notes on their story page b/c it's possible I missed some. Warnings on this page are highlight to read only if it would spoil an important plot point.
