This is not at all how science works

Sep 21, 2011 02:03

So I thought I'd take a break from all my wangsty posts (sorry about that) to post something vastly more important:

Namely, are all Doctor Who fanvids really set to Snow Patrol, or is it just a running joke?

Rather pointless silliness and fake science )

fandom: doctor who, pointless entry is pointless, fandom

Snow Patrol is what the TARDIS plays for Ten as he's crying into Rose's New Earth shirt every weekend. Martha of course, cranks up her stereo to drown out his sobs

This. Just this. LOL. New personal head canon: check.

Before I was into Doctor Who fandom, I was looking for a video of Snow Patrol's "Make This Go On Forever" and the first result was a DW fanvid. Every time someone jokes about Emo!Ten listening to Snow Patrol, I laugh. But that video is still my all-time favorite. As a matter of fact...

There, I just gave it another watch and it was fantastic.

Aww, that's a pretty song and I've never heard it before, thanks for the link.

I like to imagine Ten also listens to Morrissey. And possibly the Cure. :)

Poor Martha. That was probably the real reason she got out. ;)

I don't remember which show it was but when DT was on the Breakfast Show once they were playing, I think, what they each thought was the best song of the '00s and DT picked "Chasing Cars". So my conclusion is that DT is making all those videos. XD

(I don't have a Ten crying icon so I had to use Craig.)

So my conclusion is that DT is making all those videos.

...the image of DT sitting at a computer making fanvids and intermittently sobbing is pretty much the best image EVER.

Vaguely related gif, just cause it's awesome:
