But! I miss being actively involved in fandom, and I miss it even more after watching this vid. You should probably watch this vid:

I...consulted on this vid (along with a bunch of other people), and I saw several rough drafts, and I've been waiting for it to be posted so I could rec it. It's such a labor of love - love for our source texts and our community, with, I think, an awareness of the strengths and weaknesses in both. There's so much here that's so spot on.
