This is not my triumphant return to LJ/DW
However, I have started getting messages checking to make sure I'm not dead (love you guys <3), which made me realize how long it had been. I am not dead! Things have been a little rocky recently just kind of in general, and I was out of town with limited Internet access for the last half of April, so I haven't really been around much, but I miss fandom quite a bit and I'm going to start trying to read my flist again and go from there.
So speaking of fandom, I am sure you are all aware that this is a thing that is happening: Gabe Saporta to Guest Star on Gossip Girl Season Finale. I am thrilled when I think about how thrilled Gabe must be, even though this is happening about three years after it would have been relevant. It comes at a fitting time, however, given that spoilers* imply that this season's finale will determine whether or not I can keep watching the show, and if the answer is "no," and least I will have seen Gabe fulfill his Gossip Girl dreams before GG and I break up. He's playing a CHARACTER too and not a MUSICIAN; they were very clear about that. God, that's amazing. I hope his "acting" is as good as Pete's. I hope his character is really douchy. I also hope he has a threesome with Blair and Chuck.
Any thoughts on an ideal role for Gabe on Gossip Girl?
*Spoilers say that this is the episode in which Blair will choose between Dan and Chuck and that it will be a definitive choice, and there is only one choice I can handle. Do not make me explain or defend the vehemence with which I still ship Chuck/Blair, after everything. I KNOW, OKAY. IT JUST IS.
