(no subject)
Ugh, flist, I haven't updated in almost two weeks now and I kind of have fannish thoughts, but they mostly boil down to Black Cards is great and The Like is great and Panic! at the Disco is great (which surprises me honestly because I remain bitter and neurotic but that Brendon interview was adorable and also w/e I *always* liked the Fever sound best and that's what "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" sounds like, so. Have you guys heard this? Probably, because I'm late to everything. INTERESTING. Really I am just reminded that there isn't enough post-split Ryan/Brendon fic in the universe. <-Things I will never stop harping on). Also, once I crawled out of the Queer as Folk abyss I started mainlining Sarah Connor Chronicles, and that's great too.
I have more in-depth thoughts about all of these things, but I can't articulate them through the pain fog in my brain and entire body. I thought I was pretty much completely recovered from death plague hell; for about the last two weeks I felt 100%. But some virus came along last week and took down my entire group of school friends, including my roommate. And I was all flippant, "haha, I had it already," until I woke up yesterday and surprise! No, I didn't. This is a COMPLETELY NEW AND DIFFERENT thing, with COMPLETELY NEW AND DIFFERENT fun symptoms! No congestion, and dryer cough that's in my throat instead of my chest and muscles aches that are so painful they feel like cramps. Jesus Christ, seriously? All I do is take vitamins and drink Emergen-C and still my immune system hates me. I am so tired of being sick; I CANNOT EVEN TELL YOU.
So how are you flist? If you want to talk to me in comments about the above mentioned things being great, I would be into that, and I will try to articulate actual coherent thoughts for my next post.
