National Coming Out Day
Today I went to the National Equality March. I have thoughts, but I'm way too sunburned and exhausted to write coherently about it/news coverage of it/controversial statements that may have come from the White House about it, ugh.
I thought it was pretty awesome, though.
(Yes, we saw John Oliver interviewing people. \o/ In fact, we were talking to those people right before he pulled them aside. So close, and yet so far.)
I had a friend in town all weekend and so have accomplished none of the many, many, many things that must happen before Thursday. Getting sick is exactly what I need right now, so of course my throat is sore and has just been getting worse all day. I'm not actually sick yet, but I know I will be. I'm pretty sure that by the time I wake up tomorrow my nose will be running and I won't even be able to swallow. I tried to stave it off with Vitamin C and echinacea, but I don't think it's going to do any good. First (but inevitably not last) cold of the season. GREAT. >:(

In other, completely unrelated, news, today was also Gabe Saporta's birthday. So that happened. Ryan Ross, where *did* you come from? I know that picture's been linked all around LJ all day, but if you really thought I was gonna let it pass without comment then you don't know me at all.
