(no subject)
Big Bang posting has started in TWO DIFFERENT FANDOMS. So much fic! So little time! Really, no time, between my intensive summer class and the recent tendency of my employers to actually make me do work at work, it will probably be this weekend before I can read much of anything. But! I post on Wednesday! I am SO NERVOUS. It's kind of exciting too, mostly because it still hasn't sunk in that I actually managed to finish. I'm posting on DW so I don't have to post in so many parts and just posting a link from LJ, so my LJ flist won't have to worry about the spam, but if you read me on DW there will be many postings that day. I am SO NERVOUS.
The weather here is currently beautiful, for values of "beautiful" that mean it is hot and muggy and disgusting and I LOVE IT SOUTHERN SUMMER COME TO ME. At least the sun is shining and it is finally not raining! Thursday I will finally be done with school, which will be glorious - though I do have to come up with some kind of project for my Netspeak class. I want it to *not* involve fandom? But also I've kind of put it off so I only have a week and a half in which to do it which limits my options just a bit. I can't help it that fandom is all I know. D:
Tonight my school friends are coming over to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II and, appropriately, eat pizza. Even my friends who aren't fans are RIDICULOUS GEEKS. The life of a media studies grad student is not a bad life, all things considered.
