In the spacious dining room of the Jung’s beach house in Jeju, five people ate breakfast in relative silence. No one wanted to talk or rather, Hyuna, Junsu, and Changmin were guilty knowing what had transpired last night and what their contributions to it were. They knew why that the couple was horny last night.

"What's wrong with you guys?" Yunho asked as he shot a suspicious look at the three.

"A-ah... N-nothing..." Changmin answered, trying to act natural until he started stuffing his mouth with anything he could reach faster than the usual way he does. Of course, even his accomplices have to stifle a groan for it was so obvious.

"Spill it." Jaejoong too couldn’t stand the quiet and weird atmosphere. He too was looking suspiciously at them.

"H-huh? What spill? What are you talking about?" Junsu was next to answer, but like Changmin, he was no better liar. Even he himself knew that Jaejoong didn’t believe him.

"Is there something wrong? You guys were so quiet since last night."

"Ah! Umm Yunho, just don't mind us. We are not in the mood to talk about it." Hyuna smiled awkwardly to his boss, clearly no better at the art of deceiving than the two others. Although it was obvious that the three were hiding something, Hyuna’s lying was awkwardly very embarrassing that the five had to continue breakfast without saying anything.

"By the way…" Yunho said again, unable to stand the atmosphere. "About the bottle..." The three flinched and swallowed guiltily. Yunho saw it, the three acting as if they were criminals waiting to be carted off to prison. He eyed them intensely, waiting for someone to crack under pressure.

"What about the bottle, Yunnie?" Jaejoong asked his boyfriend curiously, oblivious to the three’s guilty act.

"I've been thinking about that what's inside of that bottle?" Yunho asked again staring the three people who totally stopped eating. He even wondered if they were still breathing.

"Ah! Err… I-I think I have to go." Hyuna stood up immediately to avoid the question, running and leaving Junsu and Changmin with the judges couple.

"What time is it? Oh, it’s almost nine. I remembered I need to call my friend at Europe." Junsu excused himself politely as well and left Changmin alone who couldn’t just leave the food. He started to sweat but he still continued to stuff his mouth.

Yunho glared at Changmin while Jaejoong alternatively eyed his friend and his boyfriend. He wondered what the fuss is all about.

"I think I'm already full." Changmin was about to stand up when he was yanked down back to his seat.

"Full? I don't think so. You have a stomach that could never be full." Yunho said. "Just tell me already what was it?!"

"Y-Yunho" Changmin stuttered and looked at Jaejoong for help.

"Yunnie? You're scaring Changmin." Jaejoong said sweetly, knowing it would calm down his boyfriend. It was effective and Yunho ceased eyeing the man beside him.

"I'm not scaring him. I was just curious of the drink we had last night." Yunho said.

"Just... just stop, okay?" Jaejoong pleaded and his boyfriend sigh in defeat, Changmin literally exhaled so loudly that the couple wondered how long he held his breath. Before the two could say anything else, Changmin dashed away with his plate full of food.

That morning until the afternoons, all of them toured famous spots in Jeju Island. With the natural beauty and relaxing scenery, their awkwardness towards each other were lifted and they enjoyed the last day before they had to face real life in Seoul that were waiting for them.

Just one day after the vacation, at Jaejoong’s office, he suddenly got dizzy then came the nauseous feelings. He ran to the bathroom and emptied his stomach, gagging and wincing. Hyuna caught him like this and she panicky patted his back while he went about his dirty business.

"I think you should go home." Hyuna advised as she flushed the toilet while Jaejoong was on the floor, curled up and too weak to stand.

"Don't worry, it would pass." Jaejoong tried to stand up with a wobble, and then walked to his table massaging his temple.

"Should I call Yunho to come?" Hyuna asked as she helped Jaejoong to his seat.

"Don't call him. I'm coming to his office later." Jaejoong smiled weakly at her. "You can go to your table now and start working."

"Are you really sure that you're okay?" Hyuna asked again.

"I'm okay now." Jaejoong assured her.

"Besides from vomiting, do you feel anything else?" Hyuna asked for the umpteenth time, unable to leave her friend for work.

“I'm kind of dizzy right now." Jaejoong answered truthfully.

"Don't you think you need to visit a doctor? Just go home and rest, I know you're still tired from our vacation yesterday."

"I told you, I'm okay, stop worrying about me. It will be gone later. Now go and start working." Jaejoong said with a tone of finality in his voice. He tried to look as normal as possible and grabbed the papers in front of him and read.

"I think… I got the timing off to come at this moment?" Jaejoong froze hearing the door open and that voice. He lifted his gaze and saw Yoochun grinning at the door.

"Yoochun!" Jaejoong smiled and as if nothing was wrong, he went to him and hugged the man.

"Happy to see me?" Yoochun said, hugging Jaejoong longer than he should have.

"Of course! Where had you been?" Then Jaejoong caught a whiff of something horrible. "What's that smell?" Jaejoong wrinkled his nose and eyed the paper bag Yoochun was holding.

"Ah! This!" Yoochun showed raised the paper bag in front of Jaejoong's face. "I brought you food. Bacon and egg toast for breakfast." Yoochun smiled but that faded when he saw Jaejoong's ashen face.

"Take it away from me!" Jaejoong grumpily said feeling even sicker at the smell wafting from the bag. He gagged and Yoochun worriedly helped him to the restroom.

"Jaejoong, are you okay?" Yoochun said as he patted Jae’s back, replacing Hyuna’s place earlier. Hyuna shook her head and brought the offender outside, wondering since when had Jaejoong hated eggs and bacon.

"I'm okay... it’s just that I don't like the smell of the food you brought." Jaejoong flushed the toilet.

"Are you sick or something? Do you want me to call your family doctor?" Yoochun worriedly asked.

"You know what? You sound like Yunho." Jaejoong chuckled. "But I'm okay. R-E-A-L-L-Y-O-K-A-Y" he spelled it for more impact.

After an hour of staying there, Yoochun left, noticing the amount of work Jaejoong has.

Yunho was at a meeting for his first project. Kangin was in front, discussing important points regarding the project. Yunho's secretary, Gayoon, typed up all the important notes for Yunho. After talking for almost an hour, Mr. Lee Sungmin stood up and replaced Kangin in front to discuss other aspects of the project.

"For the new uniform we, of course, need a designer and I already found the person perfect for the job. I decided to ask her to work for us after seeing her impressive portfolio." Mr. Lee explained. "Let's welcome, the main designer of Hwang Clothing Industry, Ms. Hwang Tiffany." he said. That name stunned Yunho. He sat there frozen, unable to move. Did he hear it right? Hwang Tiffany? His ex-girlfriend?

"Good Morning everyone." Tiffany had entered the room with a graceful flourish. She stood next to Mr. Lee. Scared, Yunho slowly, looked up hoping Tiffany wasn’t there, even if he knew well, there was only one Hwang Tiffany.

"I'm Hwang Tiffany. I’ll be the one who would personally do all the designs for the uniforms of Jung Airlines Corp. Flight Attendants." Tiffany smiled sweetly to everyone at the boardroom, drawing a warm response, especially from the men.

"As I had said before, she has a lot of experience riding planes and associating with people so we know that she’s the best for this project to be successful." Mr. Lee said when he got back the microphone from Tiffany.

"I guess this meeting is now over." Kangin said. "Yunho, talk to Tiffany and tell her what we want for the uniforms. You're the leader of this project - don't disappoint me." Kangin didn’t notice how pale his son had grown, or how Yunho faltered as he stood. The other has had left, but all this was lost to Yunho who didn’t know what to feel at all.

"Yes, appa." Yunho obediently answered after a long while. He thought his father was finished, but with a low voice, "I know she was your ex girlfriend but please, separate personal life with work." Kangin strictly said and left.

Gayoon and Tiffany walked together to the office, Yunho just followed behind them like a disgruntled shadow. He wondered why of all designers in Korea they had to pick her. Was fate playing a joke at him? Just then, Yunho realized, he hasn’t forgotten.

Not yet. He didn’t want to look at her, afraid he’d cry. Scared that Jaejoong would be hurt. Unexpectedly, he placed a hand over his chest, it was beating wildly.

It still hurt.

It’s already lunchtime and Jaejoong could finally Yunho at his office. He already stopped vomiting and he no longer felt dizzy. It seemed like he wasn’t even sick that morning.

He doesn't know what was happening to him. It started 4 weeks ago and he never visited the clinic for a check-up thinking he just caught some ordinary flu. He shrugged and took a mental note to drop by in the family doctor’s clinic when he’s free.

He was smiling widely when he entered the elevator. He even brought cooked lunch for them to share. Jaejoong reached Yunho’s floor, still with a big smile on his face.

"Hi Gayoon. Is Yunho there inside?" Jaejoong asked the secretary sweetly.

"He is there but he’s discussing with the new designer, Ms. Hwang-" Jaejoong didn’t hear the rest. He only heard the loud laughter from inside Yunho’s office.

Jaejoong, felt cold. That laughter, they sounded familiar. It felt like the past all over again… when he was just a bystander. When he only watched Yunho and Tiffany from afar.

It still hurt.

"I can't believe it! I mean who would have thought that you and Jaejoong would end up together!"

Jaejoong stopped hearing those. He was about to back away, as he always did before. It has become a habit… even now, he had the urge to just run away. And until then, he thought, was he running away to escape the pain? Or did he just really want his friend to be happy?

He didn’t like what he was feeling. He didn’t like the ugly jealousy burning inside him.

He is mine now.

Yunho was his boyfriend now. Jaejoong breathed deeply. He turned to the door… and opened it.

"OMG! Jaejoong!" Tiffany cheerfully greeted him and even kissed him on his cheeks.

"A-anyeonghaseyo!" Jaejoong awkwardly greeted her back, discreetly walking to Yunho’s side. His place.

"How are you? I somehow knew that you and Yunho would be together! Remember you told me before that you have a crush on Yunho?" Tiffany happily narrated as she hugged him. Jaejoong only smiled weakly to her.

"By the way, how were you? It’s been a while since we last saw you." Jaejoong asked trying to act as normal as possible in front of the ex-girlfriend of his boyfriend.

"Oh! I’ve been all over the place, fashion shows, conventions… I'm just here because Yunho and I would work on his project together." Tiffany explained.

Together… just them…

Just the two of them?

"R-really? That's good then." Jaejoong stammered, awkwardly laughing as he is tried not to burst in tears. Why her? Why? Did Yunho choose her? Thinking it would be a chance to be with her again?

"I didn't know that he was now working or maybe it was just because of you. I remember when we were still together, Yunho doesn't want to work at all and he’d just all his time with me." Tiffany said unaware that she had just made everything more awkward than needed.

Yunho laughing and muttered something, “Jae made me change…”

Then it was very still. A pin could drop and they’d hear it, just then, like a lifesaver, Tiffany’s phone rang, breaking the silence. "Hold on." Tiffany took out her phone from her bag and read the message.

"I think I have to go, Doojoon oppa was already waiting at the lobby." Tiffany said. "It is nice meeting you guys again. Yunho, I have your card, I’ll get in touch." Yunho opened the door for Tiffany to go.

"Uhmm... Yunnie? This project, how long do you need to work with her?" Jaejoong carefully asked as they ate lunch, thinking and reflecting. Both stunned with the unexpected turn of events.

"I don’t know. Maybe for two months? It depends on appa’s approval." Yunho lazily answered.

The way he spoke alarmed Jaejoong. Does Yunho do not want to talk about it, for him… because he was worried Jae would be hurt? Or did Yunho wanted Jaejoong out. That he liked what fate had done for him? The way he answered, the way he talked was different, unsettling.

Something had changed. And it was scary to Jaejoong. Did he have to step back again for his Yunho? Does he need to be just the best friend, again?

"She is prettier than before, right?" Jaejoong asked as he smiled wishing he didn’t felt so small, so worthless. He wanted to be with Yunho. Tiffany has someone too… true he might step back, but not too easily. He wanted to trust Yunho, give him a chance. Jaejoong wanted, and do, believe Yunho loved him.

"Maybe Doojoon and her… they sounded happy." he continued. Hoping that Yunho wouldn’t show any jealousy, that he wouldn’t react being reminded that she left for another man.

Did Jaejoong expected to get some comforting words? Some assurance?

He was wrong.

Only his fears were assured, now he has reason to be scared.

"Jaejoong, can we stop, please? I'm tired now." Yunho said coldly, his eyes full of pain.

I wasn’t enough after all… I’m never good enough…

"I'm sorry." Jaejoong whispered so weakly, it could have been just Yunho’s imagination. He lowered his head to hide the pain, pretending that he was busy eating even if all he wanted was to throw up all he has eaten. "Do you want water? Wait, I will get you." Jaejoong hurried out of Yunho’s office.

He never came back that day.

===
"So, Tiffany was back? Not just she was back… but she’s now working with your boyfriend." Junsu said as they lounged at Food Monster. “Just them.” Changmin added.

"What are you going to do now?" Hyuna asked.

"Nothing." Jaejoong answered simply, because he didn’t know what to do. Because he wanted to believe, that they were still okay.

"But you just said Yunho started acting weirdly after he met his ex." Changmin said gobbling a burger in three bites.

"Are you sure that this matter would not affect your relationship with Yunho, huh, Jae?"

"We are still okay Hyuna, so don't worry." Jaejoong smiled and they all continue eating their dinner.

===
After a long day of work, Yunho decided to leave and go home. He was tired physically and emotionally. He couldn’t run away when the feelings from the past all came rushing back to him. He sat in front of his car, parked at the basement, waiting for something he doesn’t unknown.

…I have your card, I’ll get in touch…

Tiffany said she’d call. Without realizing it, he was waiting for it. He took his phone out and checked the phonebook, his eyes lingering on Tiffany's number. He pressed the call button, he needed to... but before it starts ringing, he ended it abruptly and sighed deeply.

"What am I doing?!" Yunho scolded himself and threw the phone on the seat beside him.

He wished she’d never call.

Because he’d surely answer it.
