A Helping Hand

"Because I said so," Alfred said mockingly and both of them burst into laughter, Alfred holding his stomach as he lay on his side. Deciding that Alfred's coffee was going to go cold if Arthur continued any longer, he put the bed level again and raised the head of the bed so Alfred was in a sitting position, even if he was still curled on his side. Arthur put the coffee in Alfred's waiting hand. "Thanks Arthur," Alfred murmured and he raised his eyes to make eye contact with Arthur. Arthur knew that Alfred wasn't just thanking him for the coffee and gave a soft smile back. If it made Alfred feel better, then it was
definitely worth it.

I definitely enjoyed writing this. LJ is still being horrible so I can't reply to anything, I've just managed to get posting things to my journal and comms working. I am still receiving emails from LJ so I am reading your comments I promise.
