Full day of good things
Sunday, February 12, 2017 was a full day. A very good day too.
Up early (which is my mode these days (yawn) but a good morning service and wonderful time singing in the choir. Then we had to head to Richmond for a friend's ordination.
It was a nice venue, a big Baptist church, with an amazing sanctuary (and hand bells in place at the back).
And a church led by women. Certainly a change from what I would have expected in my youth. A lovely service and good fellowship with people we knew and meeting some news ones.
we got home around 7:30 PM.
In the modern world, it is important to take the time, even when tired, to do things that are worthwhile and also support the people we love and appreciate.
