Well the night off from union duties quickly turned into a few letters and a check that needed to be cut.
I was successful in depositing the funds into the savings account (and transferring more from checking). Tucking funds away for potential rainy days.
So I am up hydrating and did finish an article for the union newsletter. The space between meetings is tight this month since we moved the usual third Saturday meeting to the second Saturday (due to the holiday weekend). I need to be transcribing minutes this week and then can work with someone showing them the process of doing the monthly reconciliations, reports and also taxes.
Important since I am not running for reelection. I will have the dubious distinction of being the only Secretary-Treasurer of the Local. The office was combined in 2013 and we just amended the Constitution to make it two separate offices again.
