I knitted the main necklace part of these pieces recently, however hadn't figured out what I wanted to do with them yet. I came up with this idea and finished the last of them off this weekend. The vintage bronze one was a bit of a pain--- I drew it a little smaller than the gold one and the beads didn't fit down them as easily so I had to help each bead down the necklace with a bamboo skewer. I did some of it last week and my coworkers were highly amused at my efforts.
Speaking of, almost bed time so I can get to work tomorrow. I wanted to share these with you since it's been a little while since I've uploaded any.
I finished my online submission tonight for the Marriage (Gender Equality) Amendment bill and uploaded it. They supposedly have had more submissions against the bill than for it. Fingers crossed more supporters come to the party--cut off is in 4 days.
Enjoy the pretty pictures. I'll take these up to Craftworld in the next few weeks, just before Christmas but once we get out of the major changes at work next week. I've put $115NZ each on them, it doesn't cover all my labour but does cover materials and some of my labour. I don't want to set prices too high but still need to keep in mind that I need to make enough to reimburse at least some of my time as well as all of our materials. I think $115 should be fair.
