2 cool masks

Check out the cool raven mask & Eastern dragon mask courtesy of
winneganfake as part of his 30 masks in 30 days thing. Go on! Check it out!

It has been busy at work, even busier this week. I'm covering an area for someone who is out, and from tomorrow until Friday am also covering another manager for someone who will be out. On top of my usual work. And playing 20 questions with the new people (one of whom is starting to get a bit frustrating----she used to be the one sending this kind of work into us so why can't she figure out to ask for clarification when she doesn't understand the request????).

I'm having a hard time with some stuff too. I'm trying to get through each day.

And I've went and bought some new ink. I've had a 6-pack of bottles I bought in about 1998. When my old black fountain pen was skipping constantly I thought it was because it had ink dry in the barrel and nib. I rinsed it the best I could, gave it a lot of TLC and it seemed to mostly work but then would hit periods of off-on-off-on writing. Which meant my letters and cards are a bit of a mess as I try to go over the parts that skipped.

Since the nib of that pen loosened & I figured the dried ink was still causing problems, I replaced it with those 2 new pens I posted about. I filled them, one with blue and one with black. The black one was still skipping and today when I tried to use the blue it started skipping too (and I know it had enough ink in it). So I have decided that maybe there is something wrong with my older inks, maybe they've been degrading and it's created problems with the pens. I've picked up new blue and black ink, fingers crossed this solves my problems. I gave the blue new ink a test run and it seems to be ok. I'll use the new pens and inks more and see how it goes. Hopefully this will sort my issues with inks and pens and it will be smooth writing.
