(no subject)
I moved pots around in the garden today (will update Pinepigs Garden with more details in a bit). Most plants are now pretty much where I want them after having to shift everything back after the fence has been fixed. I may still move a few things, but most things are now in a decent spot so I don't have to shift them again. I've also reseeded some of the bare patches. It was treacherous in some areas, clay and standing water made it hard to shift some of the heavier pots. Once the baby grass starts growing I'll give it all a mow so the weeds and the remaining grass all get knocked down to baby grass height.
I haven't done a lot while on our holiday, but have pulled most my application for my new passport together. I am trying to get in touch with a Justice of the Peace so I can get my photocopies officially certified. There are 2 a few blocks from me, I've left a message for one and the 2nd didn't have an answer phone so I couldn't leave a message there. Once I've got that I'll need to book an appointment online (only online for some reason).
I've worked on a photo slide show for a friend's daughter's 21st birthday. It was short notice, but I scanned a bunch of photos, did some quick/basic photoshopping and put it together. We had short notice and she needed it by today (so maybe 5 days? to do it). I texted her and she's picked it up, watched it at home and called to say thank you. It was nice to feel like I've done something right.
I worked on a few photos from our trip to the Auckland Domain too.
