From The Fannish Friday Five:
What five items owned by characters in your fandom(s) would you most like to own?
1. From Warcraft:: a Hearthstone. Instant transportation! Particularly handy when coming back from long trips.
2. From the Final Fantasy series: Any item causing silence (i.e., 7's Mute Mask, 10's Silence Grenade). Every few months, I find myself desperately wishing I could cast Silence on someone (usually in a public place).
3. From House: Gregory House's collection of vintage T-shirts. (Although I'm sure he looks better in them than I would.)
4. From Harry Potter: I think a broomstick would actually be a blast. I'd save on gas, too. Also considered a Time-Turner, but life is complicated enough as it is, and I'm sure by the second year of using it I'd get lazy and somehow tear a new hole in the space-time continuum.
5. From Warcraft, again: The Mechanical Squirrel. As the heading says, this is pure vanity; to be totally honest, any of the more unusual World of Warcraft noncombat pets would be great to tote around at work. I mention a mechanical squirrel because it's one of the few pets I could safely bring in the lab without contaminating our work. I do, however, have a particular fondness for the Ancona Chicken. Mine likes to sit next to me and help me fish. :).
