Goddamn this has been a long weekend.

I won't get into the gruesome details, but it involved paying $60 for a three-day supply of medicines from the pharmacy, because my health insurance refused the co-pay and when I called NOBODY WAS IN THE OFFICE. Also, I'd been off my antidepressant since Wednesday (I hate you, Postal Service) and was thus a little out of my gourd. (Read: alternately anxious, depressed, and angry, and switching between the three at breakneck speed.) Ended with me breaking down in the parking lot of a Safeway in sheer frustration, and missing a crabfeast with my folks because I'd been stuck at the pharmacy.  Oh, and the head of my new tae kwon do school is pressuring me to take a course I can't afford, and I'm trying to figure out a (reasonably) polite way of telling him to &*$% off. Because he already has more of my money than I'd like.

/sigh

On the good side of things, my medications are at the post office, I'm taking everything that I need to take, and I had a great talk with the head of our lab Friday about graduate school. In addition, I was at the Orioles game Friday night and watched them beat the bejesus out of the Yankees; the Redskins are playing Monday night; I finally got my desktop to play video files; and the weather is really nice. Plus, season premieres of Simpsons, American Dad and Family Guy are on tonight.  So life is pretty good, actually; I'm just a little worn out.
Back to writing and fandoms soon.
