Just finished the second book of Hunger Games.
More later when I finish the third, but three thoughts up front:
1: I'd argue that President Snow is an idiot, but I suppose most of his screwups are more along the lines of desperation and on-the-fly patching by someone who isn't used to it. Still.
2: My stomach dropped somewhere into the region of my feet as soon as I realized what was up with the whole lightning thing.
3: *insert random keyboard flailing here*
