The spring semester is off to a great start.
My classes this semester are my favorites during my entire career at UF so far:
1. ANT 3620 - Linguistic Anthropology
2. ANT 3514C - Biological Anthropology
3. CCJ 3024 - Advanced Principles of Criminology
4. AST 2037 - Life in the Universe
My Linguistic Anthro professor I had last semester for Anthro of Religion, he's a kickass old man and I'm glad to be back in any of his classes.
My Bio Anthro professor is slightly boring but at least he's nice to look at.
The Life in the Universe class I've been wanting to take for a while, and although it's supposed to be a tough class, Colin (alias "Kujo" from FFXI) is taking it with me so that will make it fun.
And in criminology, I've discovered I know a surprising amount of legal jargon due to watching Law and Order.
I have a class coming up at 12:50, after that class is over going to go with Colin and get books at Orange&Blue Textbooks then go out to eat with him god knows where. Friday night going to GatorNights! with Colin and his friend from high school. Reitz Student Union theater is showing The Prestige. Too damn bad Java City closes before the movie starts, so we're going to be stuck getting Freshens.
Oh, and, time to start obsessing:
Not due to be published 'til summer but whatever.
Mr. iPod broke. I wonder if Best Buy will fix it even if I don't have a warrantee. The headphone jack is loose and I can only get sound out of one earbud so I guess it could be worse.
Let's see, what's new...
Ryne got Strider's Boots as a gift from Infinttt.
5-6 more assault runs until I can purchase my Yigit Gomlek. Oh, Terenas and Chiefbootron joined Kujo and I's assault static. Tere has this great loophole for the Periqia (sp?) assault: I give Kujo INT songs, I banishga everything and run to a safe room, Kujo sleepgas everything and he and I temp-log out. All the mobs slowly go back to their spawn points and by the time they're back Chief's already got the NPC through the dangerous areas. It works so great. Won one in 17 minutes compared to the usual 28-30.
Not much else to report cause I took a 3 week hiatus over Christmas break.
