BTCC anyone?

Apr 09, 2011 20:01

This is aimed at the motorfurs on my lists

Would anyone be up for joining me and anthropuppy over the weekend of April 30th/May 1st as we're heading down to Thruxton for the BTCC championship.

Me and pup will be doing both race days, paddock access and overnight camping. The price breakdown is as follows:

Qualifying / Race day (April 30th / May 29th)

Adult admission is priced at:              £10 in advance, £12 on the day

Grandstand seats at:                         £6 in advance, £8 on the day

Paddock transfers are free of charge

Main Race day (May 1st / May 30th)

Adult admission is priced at:             £23 in advance, £27 on the day

Grandstand seats at:                       £13 in advance, £15 on the day

Paddock transfers at:                       £8 in advance, £10 on the day

Camp Site :

Use of the Circuit Camp Site at this meeting will cost £5 per adult per night, payable in cash to the Camp Site Security Guards upon arrival. The camp site provides access to fresh water, toilets and showers.  Unfortunately pitches cannot be pre-booked. The camp site will open at 1600 hours on the Thursday and will close at 1600 hours on the Monday.

In the interests of fire safety etc., it is not always possible to pitch tents etc. near to your car or motorcycle etc so please take the advice of the Camp Site Security on this matter.

PLEASE NOTE : Animals are NOT admitted to the circuit, paddocks, car parks or camp site (except Guide / Helper dogs assisting blind or registered disabled visitors).

To purchase admission tickets etc. in advance:

Please ring Thruxton's Booking Office on 01264 882200 (during office hours) or Click here to go to our on-line WebShop.

So this means the most you will pay is £77 if paid on the day with all the extras such as a grandstand seat and paddock access. This is very good considering it's not just the BTCC you'll be watching, there will also be support championships on the day including the Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship, Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup, AirAsia Renault Clio Cup UK, Ginetta Junior Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain. So thats 6 championships worth of racing in one weekend for £77 maximum on the day. What more could you ask for?

Who's up for joining us? :)
