This one is not plot-related, this is self-indulgent adult content, oh my god. This is porn, pure and simple. There is also character development for Rachel and Nathaniel, individually and for their relationship. Sinister gives Rachel a present of some lovely armbands (cribbed from Uncanny X-Men, actually, Rachel's mun thought they looked really sexy,) and Rachel has a major ptsd flashback to her childhood in the camps. Sinister gets rather upset at her tormentors on her behalf, and they both realize again that he cares about her. During their subsequent activities, Rachel thinks Sinister is going to kill her, which he tells her is nonsense.
Neither of them think it's odd that she was going to let him do it.
