yah, looks like they've improved a lot since i was researching calendars back in Feb. i ended up choosing www.spongecell.com because they had the unique feature of being able to input events by emailing or SMSing a spongecell address, meaning i could jot down a meeting i made even if i didn't have my computer/web browser with me. you can also query the calendar via SMS if you want to know what appts are coming up.

alas, every calendar has its flaws (spongecell has primitive recurring events settings) so i'm waiting for one of them to catch up to the rest. gcal is the closest, and i'm expecting it to outpace the others eventually.
