Success!
I finally quit both jobs at A Parrot's Cove, and Great Southern Music amicably. My last day of working between both places was Jan. 31.
So I've been unemployed for 7 days now. I thought I was going to kill something, but I've found a job. I'm going to work for Starbucks (anyone surprised?) at Willowbrook, next to Chipotle. I start tomorrow. I'm actually surprised that I'm starting so quickly. I had my "formal interview" today, and then proceeded to begin all of the paperwork shit that's involved with starting somewhere new, got all of my orientation info, which I can do on my own time, and was given my hat and apron. I was seriously about to lose hope on finding something quickly.
Slivered's about to start recording brand-spanking new material. New songs are being written, which will surprise anyone that's listened to our older songs before. Something of a new direction while keeping with the dark themes of the music intact. Most cool, they'll be posted when they're done.
