Shitzor I haven't had a real update in a while. I suppose it's because nothing's really happened. That's not really the case. I've given my notice of resignation to both Great Southern, and to Parrot's Cove. The parrot job was only supposed to be temporary, but it ended up going much longer than I'd planned. As for teaching, I'm tired of being miserable every time I come home from work. That job would get to me: kids not practicing, no call no shows, kids forgetting their shit (picks, books, GUITARS). I guess I just take it too personally. I dunno, I love playing guitar, and if I were in lessons, I'd be happier than a pig in shit.
That said, I think I'm going to try to get back into the Barista gig. That was one of the coolest jobs I've ever had, despite working in the bookstore as well. It's something I've got a lot of talent for, and it doesn't make me want to rip my hair out in chunks.
On monday, Kayla and I picked up our wedding bands. Hers matches her engagement ring beautifully, and mine is the coolest wedding band I've ever seen. It's black. Black Titanium with two white gold strips near the edges. Something about a black ring is just damn cool. We've also selected the location of our honeymoon: Seattle.
