Fandom Trumps Hate Auction
I've been posting about this on my tumblr but for anyone not on tumblr, I thought I would post here as well.
There's a project going on right now, that is an auction of fanworks/fan labor with proceeds going to charity, called "Fandom Trumps Hate". I thought it was a super cool thing and decided to put my name in the hat for it. I have no clue if anyone is at al interested in "bidding" on me for my stuff (there are so many people participating!), but I thought I might as well put myself out there in the name of several good causes. :) Even if you're not interested in bidding on me, I very much encourage you to go take a look at the other people participating and see if you can find something for you (here).
I personally will be offering fic, as well as beta services. I'll put all my information below, with relevant links. I'm really excited to do a fic (hopefully) so check out my offerings and hit me up. :) Hobey ho!

Bear in mind that the larger the fic, the longer it will take for me to get back to you (for reference: I recently did a 105K fic for a friend and it took me around 2 months to get it back to her).
As a beta, my aim is to help you. I’ve been betaing works for more than ten years (ohmygosh) and I’ve learned a ton in that time. I’ve gone to writing conferences and learned even more. I’m not a professional expert, but I am confident that I can help you make your fic shiny. My suggestions are just suggestions, but they are backed by knowledge and experience. I’ll say things nicely, but it might be tough love sometimes. ;)
I do technical line edits (punctuation, typos, missing words, adding paragraphs, etc), tips on improvement where needed, and will do my best to watch out for flow, characterization, pointing out info dumps or plot holes, and am up for helping you brainstorm or sound board or whatever.
I know handing your baby to someone else is terrifying, so I will absolutely treat it and you with respect during this process, and work with you however I can. Bear in mind that the larger the fic, the longer it will take for me to get back to you (for reference: I recently did a 105K fic for a friend and it took me around 2 months to get it back to her).
