Okay, you won. I might have said we won, but I am not sure if the Republican Party won or the Tea Party won, and I am NOT in the Tea Party. You were elected because Americans want leadership and governance. What did NOT happen was President Obama getting unelected. He was elected too, by a bunch, just two years ago. However, the first words out of the gate by my party leader, soon to be Speaker of the House, is that the prime objective is to get Obama and the Democrats out of the White House. That my friends is NOT leadership and it is NOT governance. It is the same politics that got the Dems bashed in this election. So to my Republican leaders. Lead. Work with who and what you have and get things done. Start being Americans, and not just Republicans. If two years from now, unemployment isn't under 6%, you will have failed. Forget whether or not you got the Health Care reform repealed. If you haven't cut spending, by a chunk, forget whether or not you extended tax breaks for the richest Americans, you will have failed.
So if you spend your time trying to beat Obama, instead of doing what is right for America, get spending and the deficit under control and get Americans back to work. You will have failed, and I, I will be holding the pitchfork and torch as you and your fellows get the same tarring and feathering you have just put your brethern through across the aisle.
Just so you know
