Congratulations, Miss Franziska von Karma!

... but, ah... Am I immediately a qualifier in this race due to the whole rival thing, or do I still need to apply for a shot at the pole position...?

Thank you, Hayate. I see that you have remembered to watch. This is most gratifying.

Of course, you have been qualified as my worth rival since the very beginning. I suppose I should have made that clear -- this broadcast was merely for the purpose of seeking those that I have not yet spoken to.

Of course! I said I would, didn't I? It was a very impressive match. Perfect, even!

Ehehe... I see! Then I'll just have to keep it up on my end of things.

I am inclined to agree. My Aggron performed spectacularly. Teaching him how to Thunderbolt was a strategically sound move.

And how are your end of things, Hayate?

Mm! That was really clever! I always forget you can teach Pokemon things they normally wouldn't be expected to use with TM's, so I always wind up focusing on types... I'm a lot better at it now though!

--oh! We're in Cianwood, so I'm going to be getting the badge here soon enough... I'm not in a rush though, since after the whole crazy storm thing we're trying to take it easy for a bit.

I cannot see why you would forget such a basic thing, Hayate. The TMs are, indeed, very useful. However, I can see how there would be a natural sort of purity to winning on the strength of your pokemon alone, and no having to rely on such TMs.

So it seems that many of you are gathered in Cianwood. Perhaps once I reach Ecruteak, I will be able to meet most of you half-way.

Ahaha... It's not so much forgetting as... I overlook it? Not to mention they're really expensive, so I do try to rely on what they learn naturally. I'm more fond of using the Move Tutor's in each town to get a secret move I can keep up their Pokésleeve.

Mm! I was surprised at how many people were here after that whole three day blackout... I do hope it means we can run into each other though! ♥

Oh, I have not heard of such people. Who are the Move Tutors, and what sort of attacks do they teach?

I look forward to it as well, Hayate. Though I suppose I am fortunate that the 'blackout' did not take me too far from my itinerary. [a pause] It is the strangest thing.

--oh! I suppose they are a bit reclusive... They're just Pokemon specialists who can teach your Pokemon a single move. It varies from Pokemon to Pokemon, but... In general all the options they give you are things they can't learn naturally or by TM.

Mmm... I'm glad for that as well. I don't even want to think about what would have happened if I was separated from my traveling companions.

I see. And where might they be found?

I have seen that you travel with quite a few others. Are they, too, taking this challenge? [clearly this is the only thing on her one-track mind]

Ah, well... They have their own homes in each town, so... I tend to just poke around a bit and look for the place with the small sign out front mentioning them. I only actually know where the ones in Goldenrod and Ecruteak are though-- *INSERT DIRECTIONS TO THEM HERE*

Mm! Everyone in my group is collecting the badges. If you want a good rival addition, I'd recommend Mitsuru-san or Asuka-san. They're really into it.

[/NOTING THIS DOWN] Thank you, Hayate. This was very helpful information.

Ah, I have heard of this Mitsuru from several different parties. I do believe she specializes in ice-types, am I wrong?

Mm, you're welcome! I'm just glad I could help.

That's right! She's a very ice oriented girl. She actually has a decent variety, but the bias toward ice is rather blatant.

I still do wish to speak with her at some point in time, though the urge is not as pressing as it had been prior to my Blackthorn challenge. I do find ice-types to be particularly appealing as well; their elegance speaks well for them in battle.

Ehe... She's a very elegant lady herself! I'm sure you could hit it off quite well if you share that interest with her... Elegance, beauty and grace are basically her big three!

You seem to speak very highly of her-- very well, I will see just what sort of person she is. If you would pass on a message to her, Hayate?
