Good morning, Johto. Today was a fine day for the conquest of my second gym here in Violet City, and I am pleased to inform you that I have, indeed, claimed the Zephyr badge. For those of you interested, I have included a video of my and my Aggron's stellar performance. I do hope that this will become inspiration to those who are planning on taking the Johto gym challenge.

I am currently situated in Violet City and moving onto Azalea at the nearest date of my convenience. I have conquered two badges -- the one of the Blackthorn variety, and today, the Violet city gym badge, and it is my eventuality to conquer each and every badge here in Johto and become the champion.
To my credentials, I hereby challenge all relevant parties to the Johto Gym Badge Race. If you are confident enough to accept this challenge, then you will state your name, your location and the number of gym badges you have collected since you arrival. You will then hereby be my rival in this race -- and in the interest of fairness, I will warn you that I will show you no leniency.
