This place is so strange, it seems... almost barren. Without the people here it certainly would be, the lack of native animals is fairly suspicious to me.
It is... also winter here? Hm, well, I will have to adapt to the cold once again. Such a pity, I was hoping I wouldn't have to think about the wretched season again. But the weather can't be stopped and it certainly can't be blamed for going with a cycle each and every single day and year.
I'll have to investigate the compound and see what kind of plant life is living here, maybe, if I am lucky there may be some natural herbs around here. But it seems doubtful in such a depressing state of the year.
Oh well, spring will be here soon enough. It's just a matter of time.
