[Poland pauses, crossing himself in a sort of... apology for leaving off so abruptly. Latin is language of the Church, and always has been to him; knowing it is a mark of someone properly educated, at the very least, if not properly churched as well. And with so few of like mind around, that's enough to get him to open up a bit.]
