Comments: You can find the official recipe here, but I wanted to do it the crock pot, so I tweaked it a little. Now, because this recipe is made in a crock pot, the total prep time is dependent on you. I love the crock pot because I can put everything in there and go to work, and when I come back it is done. So, for this recipe I am just going to tell you what I did, and you can work with it as you please.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Total time: +/- 5 hours
Makes: 4 servings

1 pkg. Lawry's Asian Style Beef & Broccoli
2 cups water
2 Tbs oil
2 Tbs soy sauce
4 cups broccoli
1 1/2 lb cubed stew beef
3 cups instant white rice

1. Mix the water, soy sauce, and seasoning packet in the crock pot.

2. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add the beef - sear it for about 90 seconds on each side (tongs are helpful). This locks in the juices. When all sides are done, add the meat to the crock pot.

3. Set crock pot on HIGH for about an hour and then turn it down to WARM for 4 hours.

4. A few minutes before you are ready to eat, steam up the broccoli and stick the rice in the microwave.

5. Serve with rice on the bottom, then some broccoli, and topped with beef and sauce.
