Squeeing: This is one of those fics that's hard to rec because it really is original fic - there were a lot of things that usually are immediate "STOP STOP STOP" indicators to me, since I'm not a huge fan of AU, but I really enjoyed this. The writer is talented, knows her subject matter, and was able to throw some interesting twists in it. Enjoyable if you go into it with an open mind.
Excerpt: "Miss Dorlian comes to us from Theatre Ballet in Paris where she has been studying for the past year," Treize announced. There were no sounds of awe, only eyes rolled skyward and faint snorts. "She will take Miss Backer's place as Mr. Maxwell's pas de deux partner."
