The date had approached faster than she had expected, and Chrome had been rushing to get things for the party ready. Everything was in place, and she was hoping that everything may...lift Mukuro's spirits. He never seemed to enjoy his birthday in the past, but maybe this year, it would change. She looked back at the cafeteria, satisfied with her work.
Mukuro’s present had arrived yesterday, and with a lot of bribery in the form of food, she had managed to keep them, particularly the louder of the two, quiet about being there. Chrome only hoped that Mukuro would like seeing the two. His disapproval was the only worry she had regarding this gift, and she hoped it would make him feel more “at home” as Byakuran had suggested.
