So... after freaking me the hell out, the blood work turned up NOTHING. Baby's kidneys, liver, etc are functioning just fine. Her teeth look just fine.
The vet told me to change her diet to something she really likes to eat and see if that helps anything. Also, to try to feed her moist food to see if that helps the dehydration. I'm sure this isn't anything Baby will object to, as she LOVES moist food, but before this point she was a tubby 13 pounds and I only gave it to her as a treat.
The vet said that cats can have a change of appetite and start refusing foods they always ate before when they get older. Maybe her sense of smell is going, so the stinky canned stuff appeals more?
$200 for everything since Saturday ... but at least there's nothing terminal going on with Baby. Just her stubborn refusal of her dry food.
Little does she know, she is getting a bath. And likely more regular baths, if I have to feed her stinky stuff and she then licks all over herself with stinky food breath and then cuddles up to me.
