The Good: I got to meet Jennie Breedan! General shenanigans! Wonder Woman and what looks very much like a Batwoman cling for my new car! Oooh Brown Coat Swag!
The Bad: Star Trek lost the 5th annual Star Trek v Star Wars Debate. The Trek side of the panel absolutly sucked. Next year, if I go, I shall step up for the Federation...Besides the leader of the Wars side of the panel is an old friend and I love to bust his chops.
The Ugly: I saw a Federation Capitan, in full uniform, rape the snuggles bear. Read that again, let it settle into your brain. No, I was not drunk or high and no, it's not a line out of madlibs. I actually saw a Trek cosplayer chase around the members of the snuggie cult (if you haven't heard of the snuggie cult...shame on you) and steal their "God" which is a snuggle bear. It was hillarious...and a little disturbing.
The Embaressing: I was slightly distracted by a hot cosplay girl and I sort of walked into a sign...in the middle of the hotel lobby.
The Interesting: The Gay Geeks Panel was somewhat small but enlightening never the less.
I love Firefly, Star Trek, Star Wars, DC Comics, Webcomics, and mingling with my fellow geeks. Plus the girl cosplayers are always scantily clad and that amuses me.
