[Rock's sound asleep right now, though there is a bit of thrashing around - his nightmares haven't really been going away, unfortunately. And with the revelation that he can't use the Jin Scrolls to reverse whatever condition this was that caused the influence of his deceased father to be within his own subconscious, it's been getting worse.
Whether it was from stress or Geese renewing his attempts to take over his son is debatable, but either way, it's starting to reach the breaking point.
Which is shown when Rock sits bolt upright in bed, one hand at his face as he's trying to bring his breathing under control]
Shit... [He shakes his head, trying to clear his head, but he seems to be in a lot of pain as he ends up doubling over, hands at his head]
Nononono, go away, bastard, I don't want anything to do with you -
[And he's shaking, but what's even more eerie is when that shaking finally stops and his breathing's under control; his entire demeanor's changed, even his posture as he straightens.
A small smirk, one that Rock would never have normally, graces his lips as a low chuckle escapes his throat, his voice now gaining an odd duality to it]
You forget - blood is thicker than water, boy. [He seems to be talking to nobody at this point] As much as you have been running away from it - you can't escape your destiny. Our blood ties are stronger than you could ever imagine. And now... it's time to get back what's rightfully mine.
