I am posting on today, but this pass week has been one crazy thing after another. I had posted a blog about finding a cat . . . well on Monday I was waiting for the bus as Tom was seeing me off, and we ran into a lady from our apartment with a pet carrier. We looked in the carrier to discover it was the same cat we have found just a few weeks ago. She was taking it to a rescue shelter at our local mall . . . the vet will check it, and make sure it was healthy, and they will find it a good home. http://rebekah1213.livejournal.com/66961.html
The guy from the from office had given us the wrong address and the cat wasn't from the address we had went to, but it belonged to the man who had died in the town house fire just about a week ago. http://rebekah1213.livejournal.com/69068.html
The reason why the lady was taking the cat was there were these two guys (I am not bringing up race or spirituality lifestyle) who wanted to burn the cat . . . first of all, the cat wasn't even black: it was gray and white, and secondly, it was one of the cuddliest cats I have met. I think people who abuse or torture animals are mean and wrong and should get tortured and punished. Why are there so many horrible people out there?
I am just happy that the nice, cuddly cat is really going to get proper care and will go to a nice home.
