Rebecca takes her fanfiction way too seriously.

Four years ago today, Rebecca published the first chapter of her first fanfiction. I always publish my fanfic statistics on my ficaversary, not because I think I'm the best fic writer ever or anything (far from it), but just because I like keeping track of how my style and tastes have changed. Now that I've been doing it for four years, some of my early (okay, and even recent) stuff is actually pretty embarrassing.

Year 4 Stats: 20 stories, 9 fandoms, 37 chapters/shots, 209 reviews. Ten of my stories are for Les Miserables, three are for NCIS, and seven are for other fandoms. The first story I wrote this year was Sweets to the Sweet, Farewell, and the last was Dream a Little Dream. My longest story was Pages Torn Out at 22,216 words, and my shortest was Bedtime Story at 634 words. My most-reviewed multi-chapter story was Pages Torn Out at 79 reviews, and my most-reviewed one-shot was Eight to Infinity at 18. My pattern was one story for Les Miserables, one for a different fandom.

I have a few different goals in writing fanfictions. Since I started, I've tried to write for small fandoms that don't have a lot of stories. I also try to write about as many Jewish characters as I can (which I consider a mitzvah), and I have a goal to write for fandoms in every letter of the alphabet. The letters I've written for so far are A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, X, and Z. The only letters left are K, O, Q, U, V, W, and Y. It will probably take me a while to get around to all of them, since in Year 5, I want to trying focusing more on fandoms that I've already written for, rather than new ones.

Overall Stats: 72 stories, 26 fandoms, 133 chapters/shots, 1201 reviews for me, 682 reviews by me, average ~2980 words per story. 35 of my stories are for NCIS (48%), 12 are for Les Miserables (16%), 2 are for X-Men (3%), and 23 are for other fandoms (each at one story apiece). My longest story overall is Pages Torn Out at 22,216 words, and my shortest is A Day's Work at 605 words. My most-reviewed multi-chapter story is still Defensive Wounds at 103, and my most-reviewed one-shot is still Silver and Gold at 31. Signs of Strength, which had been my most-viewed one-shot for a long time, slipped down to third place this year. In first place now is Progress, followed by Crash Landing.
