Happy Sex Roles Class is Canceled Day!
I apologize ahead of time if this entry is a little sad. I'm just recalling a phone conversation I had with my mom earlier this morning.
Yesterday my dad called me and told me that my grandmother was put in the hospital yesterday. I don't want this to sound cold, but it's been this way for about 30 years. My mom really struggles with anger because she's taken care of my grandmother since she was 13, and she really struggles balancing taking care of her mother vs. her family (I'm talking about my mom). And I do love my grandmother, but my grandmother likes to fake illness a lot because she "doesn't get enough attention from my mom," which really frustrates my mom.
Anyways, it looks as if things are changing because yesterday the doctor told my mom that my grandmothers kidneys were not working properly and that she has heart failure. My mom asked for a time frame and the doctor says that it looks like 1 year. If things are really good, it could be 2-3 years. At least my mom knows now about how long she has, ya know? So it's good in a way. I think my mom is just really overwhelmed because she's taking care of her mother and my father at the same time. I just need to pray that the Lord give her strength of mind and body.

Yes, it is now a National Holiday lol. I do love my Sex Roles class because Vander Mey is a trip but...I can do with a class cancellation now and then. :-D
I hope everyone is having a good morning. Personally, I am really starting to like coffee. I always said that I would never become a coffee addict but...yah LOL.
Okay, here is a lesson that God has taught me over the years.
Don't ever say NEVER. Every single time I have said never to Him----whether it be "I will never do that" or "I will never like this" or even "I will never fall for that person.."...God will prove you wrong, mark my words. Happens to me every time! So the word never has been taken out of my vocabulary LOL.
But yeah...coffee is good.
