Cooking Dinner
I have a dinky little electic hotplate thingy in my room. I turned it on to heat up while I cut the vegies & chicken for my dinner. I put the kettle on to boil and threw the onion and garlic into the pan. But it seemed to be taking aaaaaaages to heat up and start sizzling and a frying pan does when you put onion & garlic in it.
Turns out the kettle caused the short circuit thingy on the powerboard all the kitchen appliances are plugged into to kick in. I was sitting there waiting for the stuff to cook and the bloody hotplate wasn't even on!! It took me twenty mintues to realise!! D'oh!!
