I just set up the notes thingy on Facebook to 'import from an external blog' - i.e LJ. I'm not sure if it's a good idea.
I'm still not convinced that Facebook is a good thing, but my Dad is now on facebook, and that's one way of keeping in touch with him. If he wants to know what I'm up to he can read my Facebook notes. It might mean that I'll write a 'public' entry that will be imported to Facebook, and then another 'friends only' entry that will just stay here in LJ-land and have either more detailed, or just different, information in it.
