RETREATTTTTT
okay so guess what kids, its about that time for an update! woo arent you excited to take a step into my life>??!?!? haha okay so here goes
friday at around 6:00 we left for the GOYA PRE-LENTEN RETREAT that was being hosted by Pensacola in mobile alabama... so it took us a while to get there because well, slidell always has to cause some damn problems for us when traveling, this time it was a car accident which looked pretty bad, but we did our crosses prayed for whoever was in the wreck and kept driving... 2 hours later we get to the BRookley center of Southern Alabama.. i think thats what the campus was called.. but i dont remember... but yeah we were definately the last ones to get there... but what else is new.. new orleans is never on time for anything.. its part of our greekyness... but yeah so we had some spiffy icebreaker which was kinda confusing at the beginning but i picked up very slowly... after the icebreakers led by the daphne... we had a vesper service i think to where i def couldnt stop laughin but yeah.. LOOOOORD HAVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEERCY ....i think we went back to our rooms or whatever and then panayioti came and visited.. which was nice of him and me, amy, dominique panayioti and some other people played taboo .. "i'll teach you how to ____ 101 come on now amy" yeah that was fun until panayioti was asked to leave because boys werent allowed in the rooms or whatever.. so we all departed to our dormitories...
saturday i believe was by far the best day of my life.. i do not think i have had that much fun before in my life.. except for well the confession part because that totally sucked so i shall proceed, it started off by me and dominique gettin to know the pensacola girls a lot better... katie, daphne and nikki... its like the three musketeers... these girls are quite the incredible trio... so we had our morning vespers followed by some breakfast.. after breakfast we made this picture thing on home and garden.. like wtf?!? then we had a break followed by some more sessions and confession...
deear lord confession was quite scary.. i mean, who wouldnt be scared? luckily i had katie coachin me on how to confess... go get em tiger! haha so after the misery of that, we proceeded to make a skit about a lonely girl with no friends.. yeah you guessed it.. i was the loser with no friends also known as wall girl, i played with a wall...yea.. im special i know... so after making the films we all sat and watched the films as a group... dear god, these are such blackmail tapes.. but i mean im not the only one who looked completely dumb... nikki did her 1,2 step dance.. so umm yeah... after watchin the videos it was about 9:30 and we had about 2 hours to entertain ourselves... so nikki and i decided to serenate everyone who had not left... if you name it we sang it AND acted it out.. we were quite the duo.. look out for our cd comin out soon! haha i definately want a copy of that video so ill have to hit up daphne for that... yeah.. so after that i played some more taboo with panayioti amy and dominique.. dominique and i lost but its okay... we put up a good fight...so after panayioti left, we then went back to our rooms where i spent some time with daphne, nikki and katie... we had some interesting conversations and it was quite an extraordianry nite.. sadly.. this was the girls last GOYA function being that they were all seniors.. you know its a shame that we didnt meet before or make an effort, but i dont blame them.. i didnt think pensacola liked me that much anyways.. but i still should have tried harder to get to know these girls because they are incredible... and they WILL be visiting daphne next year or i will hurt them...
sunday we packed up and thurch where we spent our last day together.. we exchanged numbers and screennames and we departed after our final goodbyes filled with laughter and pictures... sunday was also adam's birthday so dominique, amy, me, panayioti and emil all went to foosackly's which is practically the same as raising canes... i learned some south african words but i forgot them but ill get emil to teach them to me again.... and then we went to adam's house for a crawfish boil... after hanging with emil, and watchin panayioti and adam play halo 2 we left alabama and headed for home... it was a great weekend and im sure your upset because you missed out...but whatever.. enough talk, i love you
