Glossary of Korean words in my fics

I use a lot of Korean words in my fics, mostly basic terms, but in case one or two pop out at you as something you don't know, I've written this list for you.


Aegyo - overly-cute acting
Ani(o) - no
Andwae - no, don't, can't, etc.
Annyeong(haseyo) - hello
Annyeong(higaseyo/higyeseyo) - goodbye
Babo - idiot
Dongsaeng - younger sibling/younger person
Dugeun - heartbeat sound
Hyung - male's older brother
Kai-Bai-Bo - rock, paper, scissors
Molla(yo) - I don't know
Ne - yes
Noona - male's older sister/older female
Oppa - female's older brother/older male/boyfriend type
Sarang(hae) - love (I love you)
Ye - yes
Yeobo - honey (or sweetie)
Yeoboseyo - hello (on the phone)
