3 hours before work
Well, let's see. Last weekend I went to Eau Claire and spent time with Adam and his family. It's funny that Adam's dad and my dad have the same b-day. His family loves me. And my parents finally met Adam for the first time when they came to pick me up to go to the wedding. The wedding was okay but I wish I could have brougt Adam. I didn't really have anyone to talk to or hang with because everyone had a date for the wedding. I also didn't really get to spend that much time with Adam. Time flys way too fast when we are together. It sucks.
Monday morning I get a phone call from Autumn Hill Creative, they want me to be their intern. I'm so excited.It's the perfect place to intern. I'll be learning a lot yet I won't be stuck just getting coffee and shit because they are actually having me work on projects. I'm going to be working there Mondays and Tuesdays. Then the rest of the week I'll be working for Red Robin. Speaking of which, I had my first day by myself yesterday. My first day by myself and my first table is like 15 ppl. And every one of them wanted seperate checks. Good thing another waitress helped me. Kinda sucked because I didn't get the tips and Andy was sitting at another one of my tables and since he didn't want anyone sitting next to him that took up another two of my tables that I could have had ppl for. I did make 30% in tips though. which was nice. The only think I didn't like is that you have to tip out three ppl. the mixo, the expo and the busser. So, that takes away from some of your money. Oh well, it's money. Let's just hope I have enough to pay for next years tuition. I didn't get any loan money this year. Fucking government. I don't make enought money to afford school but I'm not poor enough to get any loans. Bastards.
I was supposed to go protesting with Avery this weekend but I have to work a double on both Fri and Sat. The nice thing is is that I get out by 8 so it doesn't ruin my night. I hope she's not too mad that I can't make it. I hope that I don't run late on Sat night because there is this band playing and I'd really like to catch their show. well, time to go get ready for work.
