Today, I got a job. With Manpower, a temp agency. That's to hold me over while I find a long term job, and maybe later for extra money. The job is in a cafeteria, which should be bletch.
Ah, blessed money, why dost thou hate me so? Making me toil for thy wretched presence!
Anyway.
Applied at TMI as well, and I think that should go pretty well. Expecting a callback from them in 2-3 days... so by friday. ABX, I have given up on. They haven't called yet and probably never will, so fuck them.
Also, on the relationship note... met a nice guy, we like each other... just not romantically. For those of you now waiting to IM/call me and pester me about some guy not returning romantic feelings... the lack of romantic interest is mutual. We're pretty well completely romantically incompatible, and we both know it. Though initially he was tempting.
Three conclusions.
1 - I'm going to have to get out there and try to meet more gay men around town... because personals sites are full of sex-crazed freaks.
2 - Patience is a very important part of dating. I'm going to have to spread this drive over a long period of time, I think.
3 - The good ones are taken when they're obvious, so I need to find the good ones that aren't obvious. Hmm.
Other than that... life continues as always. May the ketchup rain upon the heads of the frolicking dirt children eternally.
